Golf is a precision sport that requires a standardized playing area as well as appropriate gear. The origin of golf dates back to the first century BC. Modern day golf, that is played everywhere, has its roots in Scotland. Apart from golfing gear and a playing field, golfers also require golf apparel.
Evolution
The game originated in Scotland and it is no surprise that the first used were kilts and animal skins. There was a time when golf was played wearing formal jackets. Today, leading companies are coming out with branded golf apparel for men and women. This includes golf shirts and t-shirts, golf hats, shoes, gloves, trousers and shorts. Today, golf apparel can be bought online as well as in any reputed sporting goods store. With choices aplenty, the customer can visit many sites or stores to find apparel and golf hats that best suits them. More than fashion or comfort, mobility is very important when buying apparel.
Once the apparel golf is selected, it is essential to make a calculated and informed selection of the required golf equipment. Equipment includes golf bags, golf clubs, gold tees and golf balls. For example, a maximum of 14 clubs can be carried at one time in the golf bag.

Golf skirts prove very popular with female golfers because they prove less restrictive, whilst others may opt for shorts or loose pants. Polo tops are also worn by women – some sleeveless polo tops are allowed on more upmarket golf courses.
Correct Fitting
When it comes to choosing your golf clothing, you should ensure that the clothing is not too restrictive, tight or uncomfortable. You will want to choose golf clothing that is made from lightweight, breathable fabrics – especially if you golf primarily in warmer weather.
